The Science of Vision

Visibility-focused design is at the heart of everything MY LITY creates. For us, visibility is not only about being seen — it's about helping the wearer stand out clearly in low-light and visually complex environments, from school crossings to grey-day commutes.

Our products use high-contrast colours like neon yellow, which published research indicates are more readily noticed than darker tones, a principle that informs our design choices. Combined with reflective materials and strategically placed LEDs, this design is intended to make the wearer more noticeable in low-light conditions.

But we go beyond colour. We study children’s natural movements, light angles, and daily routines to design visibility wear that blends seamlessly into everyday life without compromising comfort or style. The result is considered design that works with everyday life.
